WEDDING MONOGRAMS

Are you a monogram person? Middle school Morgan LOOOOOVED a good monogram and even ordered vinyl decal monograms to put on all of my binders and notebooks. Something about monograms seemed more "kid-ish" to me though as I progressed to high school and college as my style changed.

After we got engaged, I started planning our wedding by I scrolling through Pinterest and wedding photography websites, and by flipping through dozens of wedding magazines. I quickly found that I loved the thought of a wedding "logo" or monogram - basically something to be cohesive from the ceremony program, to the reception, and even to the thank you notes that would be sent out after it was all said and done.

I did a lot of research and ended up deciding on a 2 initial monogram that I purchased from Shuler Studio. My sister had used a 3 initial monogram and while I loved the thought of including my new last name, this style was just a little too busy for my own personal taste (and I wanted to do something a little different than my sister). We chose to use our first names instead (hence the C and M) and I love the way it turned out! I ended up purchasing the embroidery file as well and had beautiful napkins made to display at our head table at our wedding. I thought this would be a super special keepsake to pull out and use at our house and remember our special day!

Below are photos of tons of the ways I included this monogram throughout our wedding and beyond. I am so happy I made this $35 "investment" because I think it tied everything together so nicely!
